Ceilometer CL31

DESCRIPTION

The Vaisala CL31 Ceilometer, is a commercial atmospheric LiDAR used to determine the height of cloud base, measure aerosol backscattering within the atmosphere, and investigate the structure of the Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL).
The ceilometer measures the atmospheric backscattering profile every 16 seconds up to an altitude of 7 km and with a spatial resolution of 10 m. The backscattering profile can be inverted to obtain the atmospheric extinction profile

MFS 10m Meteorological Mast

DESCRIPTION

A 10-meter meteorological mast supports meteorological observations, including temperature, relative humidity at 2- and 10-meter elevations, wind velocities in 3-axes at 10-meter elevation along with barometric pressure and moisture presence detection at 1-meter elevation.

ZephIR 300 Doppler Lidar

DESCRIPTION

Doppler Lidar for wind profiling applications. It provides remote wind profiling across 10 user-defined heights from 10 meters (33 feet) to 200 meters (656 feet), allowing at the same time for extreme operation (from -40 C to +50 C).

Vaisala LT31 Transmissometer

DESCRIPTION

The Vaisala LT31 Transmissometer provides high accuracy measurements of ground-level visibility with a temporal resolution of 10 seconds. Visibility indicates the distance to which human visual perception is limited by atmospheric conditions. Transmissometers are instruments which derive visibility by measuring the light transmittance of the atmosphere.
